Cool Gig – Good cause

On Saturday, July 18th at 6 p.m., Marlton, New Jersey’s Davis Concert Staging, Ben and Jake Davis, will host the Champps Summer Reggae Fest. This concert benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will take place at Champps Americana, located at 25 Rt. 73 S. in Marlton, N.J. at the Marlton circle. Sad News: Ventures Founder Dead

Bob Bogle, cofounder and lead guitarist of the Ventures, whose riffs on hits like Walk Don’t Run and Perfidia defined surf rock, died Sunday at 75.

He had reportedly been suffering from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which forced him to quit the band he founded five decades ago with Bob Wilson.
